If you want to learn more about traditional Japanese foods eaten during cherry blossom season, consider booking the Capital Hilton’s cherry blossom package. At a starting rate of $289 a night, the package includes a bento box filled with authentic Japanese food items typically eaten during cherry blossom season, such as handmade Sakura Candy and Mocchan Dango Mochi (tri-colored mochi). The box also comes with an informational sheet giving background on each item. Packages are available for March 19 through May 21.

Other than their cocktail options, the cherry blossom packages at these two Hilton properties are identical: Starting at $250 a night, the package at either location includes a room, complimentary parking for one vehicle, and two complimentary cocktails. The Capitol Hill location is just steps from the U.S. Capitol building, while the Embassy Suites location is a newly renovated all-suites hotel.
